Christmas in April is a program coordinated by the United Way to assist low income or disable families with fixing of their homes.  In 2008 the Jaycees of Cecil County participated in the program again.  We assisted a family of a husband and wife that both had severe health issues.  Our group was able to help this family by power washing & staining their back deck, power washing their front walk & front steps, power washing the front of their house, re-painting their front railing, and general yard work.  This was a rewarding experience with the gratitute of appreciation from the homeowners, and of course.....we did manage to have some fun along the way.
