Prior to April, 1962 Greater Towson Jaycees assist in extending chapter
Jimmy Nicholson, North Street, pays $100 Charter fee
April 24, 1962 Chapter chartered as Cecil County Jaycees Robert Boyd is 1st Chapter Pres
1973 Chapter attends National Convention in San Diego, CA
1974 Chapter has over 100 members
Summer 1977 First “Bathtub Push”
May 1978 Jim Crouse elected Mayor of Elkton
May 1984 Edd Janas elected Maryland District 10 Director
May 1985 Edd Janas elected Maryland Region IV Director
August, 1986 Delegate Ethel Murray gets proclamation from State
on 25th Anniversary Year of Chapter
June, 1989 First “Horseless Weekend” Jaycees Car Show at Fair Hill
1991 T. Nicoll McIntire III Scholarship created in his memory
April 20-24, 1992 Weeklong Celebration of Chapter’s 30th Anniversary
May, 1992 Jean Broomell elected Elkton Town Commissioner
June, 1992 Mark Mankin elected Maryland District 10 Director
August, 1992 Second “Bathtub Push” & Toni Pagnotti Day in Elkton
to benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association
June, 1993 Fifth “Horseless Weekend” Jaycees Car Show featuring the Hubcaps
April, 1996 Rob Alt elected Mayor of Elkton
May, 1996 Celebration of Chapter’s 40th Anniversary at Cecil Community College

November, 2005 Cia Marshall elected Maryland North Central District Director
